I just got a reverse lens mount to take macro pictures and I thought this would be a good assignment to give it a try.

So I was listening to the Beastie Boys and it hit me... so I took some old ear phones and plugged them into my iPod. I filled a cookie sheet with a bit of water, rustled up some Paul's Boutique and tah dah!

okay here is my real submission for this weeks abstract picture.

This is actually 2 trees. The original was struck by lightning and died and the new tree grew around it (the dead portion is the darker part inside that looks burnt).
