This is a very cool picture. I like that you can see the detail of each star yet you can sense the motion of the flag in the wind.I wonder if you had used a tripod if it would have made the flagpole appear more static and the flag more fluid.Regardless, great picture, especially for your first time with long esposeure.
I agree with everything that's been said and there might be something to Matt's tripod suggestion. Regardless, I love the movement of the image, I vote to make this the new national stamp. :)
